Golfing Everyday Challenge Day 2: Early Morning Practice and Fitness Goals
Early Morning Golf Session: Staying Active and Balanced
This morning, I hit the golf course early to beat the crowds and soak up some sunlight. Starting the day with an outdoor activity like golf felt incredibly refreshing, especially after spending my morning coding. As a developer, it’s easy to get glued to the screen, especially when troubleshooting issues or adding new features to my projects. However, my daily golf challenge has been a fantastic motivator to step outside and stay active.
Golf has become an essential part of my routine, not just for fitness but also for mental clarity. It’s tempting to stay indoors and push through work, but prioritizing time outdoors has made a world of difference. A few friends doubted I could stick with my goal of golfing for at least one hour every day, but that only strengthened my determination to succeed.
Balancing golf with my other hobbies—like hiking, biking, cooking healthy meals, photography gigs, working out, and spending time with friends—has been challenging but rewarding. Every day feels packed, but I’m grateful for the opportunity to pursue all these passions. This morning’s golf session reminded me why I started this challenge in the first place—to create balance, stay healthy, and enjoy the journey.
Here’s a video of today’s outing—check it out for some early morning golf inspiration!
